Digital Product Passport

Demo for apparel, sport and fashion

What are the benefits of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and how can you adopt them into your business strategy?

Our event during Oslo innovation week discussed this topic. With speakers from across the textile industry, people in attendance gained valuable insight into the DPP. The event also included a live demonstration of technical solutions as well as one-on-one conversations.
A total of six speakers focused on topics that provided insight into regulations, application of the DPP and how it can contribute to a circular economy.

If you would like to learn more about this topic you can watch the recording of the presentations. You can also download each speaker’s presentation.

Camilla Mjelde from Trimco Group talks about upstream challenges of obtaining traceability data from the supply chain, «who is the supplier of my supplier» and the kind of certificates they may have to connect to the rest of the digital product passport journey.

Kim Dalsaune from Securitas Technology talks about how GS1 Digital Link and the DPP can increase product transparency while at the same time increase customer experience.

Mariann Norheim from Kezzler talks about the DPP and how they can help brands collect data throughout a products lifecycle and associate it with the DPP for customers and stakeholders. She also dives into regulatory compliance and what the DPP can bring of value for brands.

Line Eriksen from Holzweiler talks about how Holzweiler has started using GS1 Digital Link to provide easy and accessible circularity solutions for their customers through the products DPP as well as how to enable product transparency.
